Recycle for Breast Cancer Helps Individuals and Businesses Dispose of E-Waste All Year Long, Coast to Coast, While Supporting the Fight Against Breast Cancer.

Now individuals as well as organizations of any size can easily recycle electronic waste such as computers, monitors, laptop computers, cell phones, inkjet cartridges, toner cartridges, MP3 players and Digital cameras to help support the fight against breast cancer with a free, online national program.

San Ramon, CA – (Oct 3, 2003) RFBC announces a no-cost recycling program to benefit the fight against breast cancer, that anyone, anywhere can participate in.

Every day millions of old cell phones and empty printer cartridges are thrown away and end up in our nation’s landfills. The Recycle for Breast Cancer program collects these cartridges and prepares them for recycling. More and more information and studies are showing that there is a link between the toxic chemicals going into our environment and landfills and the causes of cancer.

Program Manager, Larry Behrens, says “This program is an opportunity for anyone to support a great cause and help protect the environment at the same time. It has two great benefits – we provide a much needed e-waste recycling service that helps keep the toxic materials out of the environment and donate all of the proceeds to help support the fight against breast cancer. The best part of the program is that anyone can participate without incurring any cost!”

RFBC has developed an online collection program that allows individuals as well as businesses to participate by collecting and recycling their electronic waste.  Whether you have 1 item or a pallet load, RFBC can provide a shipping label or dispatch a truck to your location.

Using www.recycleforbreastcancer.org you can request shipping materials, collection boxes and other marketing materials to make your collection efforts a success.
